Black Auto Mechanic Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) loves life and is very knowledgeable. A terrible illness forced him to leave his job and family and move into the hospital for experimental treatment. Billionaire Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson), the CEO of a healthcare organization, has always adhered to the “one room, two beds, no exceptions” business philosophy, and he has to share a room with others after learning that he is seriously ill.
