Week08&09: Phonemes and performance

I chose a lyric because I like this song so much and it often gives me courage.

“Let it go”

Since I am not very good at acting, I found the characters in the MV to help me perform.

Frozen

I used the model I found on the Internet. I think it has better control and richer expressions, but it is very troublesome to operate.

I think that a good character animation must have rich enough expressions to fully express the character’s heart. So I tried to exaggerate the expression a bit, but it seemed a bit too much.

I find it hard to control the eyes. Eyes can convey a lot of information, so it is a very important part. I added the action in the MV and adjusted the colors. I feel good.

Challenge 7: Record/find reference footage

I found a video about flipping on the web. I am very interested. It doesn’t look very difficult, but the actual operation is still somewhat difficult.

Challenge 8 (Part 1): Setting Up Maya, Exploring Rigs & Blocking Out Body Mechanics

It’s really hard, and I’ve tried my best not to deform my body. The final result is alright.
